Castelo de Vide sits inside the Serra de São Mamede Natural Park, and the walking network is the most direct way to link the built heritage to the surrounding hills.

GR41 is the long-distance route; PR1, PR3, and PR5 are short trails of half a day or less that start from the town itself.
